    The blade continues to run when guide is in cleaning position, what should I check/look for that causes this?

    If you have given us a complete model number you have a 0 degree carriage manual machine. It does not have a cleaning position. To clean you must turn the machine off and unplug it. Now if there is a letter after the VSe 12, that’s another item.
