Hello. Newby here. I replaced a heater on my Bunn Cwtf15, however, failed to note how the wires were connected. I acknowledge the wiring diagram on the front cover; however, I am having a hard time making sense on some of the wires. Especially the two blue wires. One skinny from the Start switch and the other from Limit Thermostat. Then there’s the two white tank warmer wires that wrap around the tank. Not sure where these go. Can anyone guide me? Which connect to the thermostat and which to the tank heater. Thank you.

There are multiple configurations of the CWTF machines. With or without water valve, Plumbed or tank, 115, 230, 240 or millivoltage. Early or late design. They have multiple towers, bases, tops and heater configuration’s. So the best information is the wiring diagram attached to the machine.

But basically, the power comes to the main switch, (L1) to the high limit, then the thermostat, then the heating element. Element back to L2. If you have a faucet, there may be a thermostatic fuse in line as well. The tank should also have a blanket warmer attached around it with a resistance wire that keeps it warm. You can recognize that wire as it has high temp insulation on it.
