How much water runs out?  Ice in the ice bin melts and might let out a very thin stream if ambient conditions aren’t the best.

If it’s running out like a water faucet is on, then that depends:

    • If it’s during the period which the ice is dropping (harvest), then – YES…that is normal.
    • If it’s happening that way, but far exceeds the period of a harvest cycle, then – NO…that’s not supposed to happen.

If the water is coming from the drain line on the head unit dump valve is leaking by and needs to be replaced.  If water is coming from the storage bin then eater is splashing out of the head unit and it needs to investigate as to the exact source.  If the drain from the head unit is connected to storage bin drain then they need to be separated per code. Then you can isolate weather the storage bin drain of the head unit drain.
