    Hi,

    Wanted to see if someone can give me some guidance on this.

    A customer of mine has a Wassesrtom Cooler and is looking for the Gasket for the cooler.

    This issue is, is that it is a custom refrigerator and the customer is having issue getting answers from Wasserstrom.

    It has a Model # of W1496 but dont think that will help.

    The Gasket is 18″X 24 1/4″.

    Pic attached.

    Let me know if someone can point me in the right direction.

    Thanks

    With gaskets, How you measure is important.  And with custom cases or built in you normally don’t find them from the manufacturer.  They keep changing with time and you inevitably will get the wrong one.  I have found it best to just have them make by a gasket specialist like RHS

    The first linc is the measure method page 244 of there catalog. The second is the styles/

    I have used CoolerGaskets.com and they have provided great gaskets for my custom equipment.

    You can also order gasket material online for different conditions and cut it yourself.

    Just trace out the existing gasket on the sheet and cut it with a knife.

      We are referring to door gaskets.  Most today are a vinyl magnetic with a barb mount.  Getting the right profile is critical for proper seal and door closing.  Fusing the corners requires a special machine and best left to the houses that specialize in them.

      They make a tremendous difference with coil ice, Cooling Capacity and run time.

    Afraid not.  I use McMaster often, but not for door gaskets.  Their are many style’s, like this;

    Their is also lip mount, Screw,  Glue on, Tubing.  Over 2500 styles one has to work threw to find what their cooler needs.
